We accept all major credit and debit cards processed through our secure payment system.
Cash and checks are not accepted.

A $250 security deposit is required to confirm your rental. The deposit is charged to your credit or debit card prior to pickup and is refunded after the vehicle is returned, minus any applicable charges.
Applicable charges may include (but are not limited to):
Fuel
Additional mileage
Tolls
Unpaid citations
Insurance deductibles
Rental extensions
Any other fees outlined in the rental agreement
Luxury vehicles require a higher security deposit, typically ranging from $500–$1,000, depending on the vehicle.

Yes. You may add an additional driver to your rental, even if they are not listed on your personal auto insurance policy (such as a friend).
The additional driver will be fully authorized to drive the vehicle for $25 per day and must meet the same rental requirements as the primary driver.

No. We believe in transparent pricing.
Unlike large corporate rental companies, we don’t add hidden or unnecessary fees. Any fees you see are clearly disclosed and are only included to remain compliant, legal, and fully operational.

Yes. All renters are required to have insurance coverage during their rental.
When booking with Clifton Auto Rentals, you may choose one of our in-house protection options:
Auto Basic Package
Auto Essential Package
Our protection packages typically range from $40–$60+ per day, depending on the vehicle.
Alternatively, renters may purchase third-party insurance through RentalCover.com.
⚠️ Important:
If using third-party insurance, Collision Damage Protection (CDP) must be selected for the entire rental period. Liability-only coverage is not sufficient and does not protect the vehicle.
